We offer many services at ARG Bradford Federal Credit Union. We have payroll deduction, direct deposit, Share (savings) accounts, Christmas Club Share Account, Certificates of Deposit, Share Draft (checking) accounts, debit cards, and loans.

Share Accounts
To join the Credit Union all you have to do is open a share account. A share account is the same thing as a savings account. We charge a $0.25 fee to join the Credit Union and you must keep a $5.00 minimum balance in your account. You will earn dividends on your share account. The dividend rate is calculated on your average daily balance and is credited to your account quarterly. The dividend rate is set by the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.

Share Draft Accounts
Share Draft accounts are the same as checking accounts. You will earn dividends on your Share Draft account. The dividend rate is set by the Board of Directors just as it is on the Regular Share Accounts. A $3.00 per month fee will be charged on Share Draft Accounts with an average daily balance of less than $100.00. Accounts with an average daily balance of $100.00 or more will have no monthly fee.

We also offer direct deposit. You can have your entire paycheck directly deposited into your Share Draft Account. No more waiting in line at the bank to cash your paycheck. If you are out of town, you can feel confident that your paycheck has been deposited into your Share Draft Account and you can begin writing checks on that money immediately. Debit Cards
Your debit card will work in conjunction with your Share Draft Account. Use it for purchases anywhere Visa is accepted. You can also use it at any ATM machine with the STAR logo. It's very convenient if you need cash over the weekend when the Credit Union is closed. Either way, the money comes directly out of your checking account. Loans
The Credit Union will lend money for titled and insured vehicles, boats, tractors, recreational vehicles and Share Secured loans. New vehicles are financed at 100% of the retail value and used vehicles are financed at 90% of the retail value (determined by the NADA guide book).

We also offer signature (unsecured) loans up to $6,000.00, for a maximum of 5 years.

Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction can make your life much easier. With payroll deduction, you can have any amount you want automatically deducted from your paycheck and deposited directly into your Credit Union account. This makes saving a breeze. Since you never see the money in your paycheck, you don't miss it and it adds up quickly in your Share Account. This is also a good way to make your loan payments. No more writing out checks and remembering when to mail your loan payments. The money is automatically deducted from your paycheck each pay and applied to your loan. No more late payments because you forgot to put the check in the mail.

Our general policy is to allow you to withdraw funds deposited in your account on the next business day after the day we receive your deposit. In some cases, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds beyond the next business day. Then the funds will generally be available by the fifth business day after the day of deposit.
